Whats on...
Mondays 3-415pm Y Rec - Y1 Superstar Multisports (NEW CLUB for Term 3): multi-sports style club wiht a varierty of activiites throughout the term; team building and leadership games, mini-tennis, kwik cricket, rounders, mini-olympics, football, tag rugby, survival skills, dance, jungle gym, and dodgeball.
Tuesdays 3-415pm Y1-2 Football Club: includes skill based activities such as dribbling, close control, passing, shooting, attacking, defending, shielding the ball, and matchplay.
Wednesdays 315-430pm Y3-6 Ultimate Dodgeball: Dodge, duck and dive! A multitude of dodgeball based games throughout the club. Key skills; dodging, running, throwing, and catching.
Thursdays 315-430pm Y2-4 Basketball (NEW CLUB for Term 3): Includes skill based activities such as dribbling, passing, shooting, defence and attack strategies. We offer the chidlren the chance to enagge in matchplay as part of the clubs and teach them the positions on court and the roles of each player.
What you need to know...
Term 3 & 4 clubs will start week commencing 9th January and finish week ending 31st March, running from the end of the school day until 415 or 430pm - 11 weeks excluding half term. Children should attend school 'club ready' on the day of their club. Please ensure your child is wearing their Lyde Green PE kit for clubs. At your first session please bring with you a drink, appropriate clothing and footwear (pe kit/trainers), a rain jacket (outdoor clubs), a water bottle, and any necessary medication.
Secure your space by booking online
Once you have signed up and paid you are guaranteed a space. You do not have to wait to be told your child has a place, the online system automatically manages the volume of spaces available for each club. We have now introduced a termly payment option as well as bi-termly so you can opt to book and split payments. Payment can be made on the website (debit or credit card), via bank transfer, or by childcare vouchers. If paying by childcare vouchers then please book via the website as normal and select 'ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT OPTION' at checkout, making reference to childcare vouchers in the notes. Your confirmation email will direct you to the childcare voucher section of our website for details on how to pay.
What does it cost?
Clubs are booked and paid for in advance of the term. You can choose to book a term at a time to split costs or book both terms. Term 3 = £25.00 Term 4 = £30.00 Term 3&4 = £49.50. Booking multiple clubs? Book 2 clubs and save £5.00, book 3 clubs save £7.50. This offer applies to multiple clubs and/or children in the same family.
Pick ups and drop offs...
All children attending clubs should meet in the school hall. If your child is in Reception or year 1 they will be escorted to the meeting point to change. After the club has finished children are to be collected from the main entrance of the school by their named adult at the alotted time. If pick up arrangements change on any particular week then you must contact us directly giving detail of the named person collecting your child(ren).
