Clubs aims...
Whilst freedom is important, at Sporting Chance we believe in the importance of setting boundaries that children must understand and follow, for their own safety and for the safety of other children attending, and adults hosting the provision. We aim to do this in a way in which we will help each child develop a sense of the consequences of their behaviour. We will always aim to praise and reinforce positive behaviour before using sanctions. When it is necessary to use sanctions, any sanctions given take into consideration the child’s age and stage of development. Please view our Behaviour Policy https://www.sportingchance-csp.co.uk/behaviour-policy
Pick ups and drop offs...
All children attending clubs should meet in the gym at 330pm; Children in EYFS, year 1, and year 2 will be escorted here by their teacher - they should already be wearing thier school PE kit as per 'club ready' rules. After the club has finished children are to be collected from the main entrance of the school by their named adult at 430pm.
If pick up arrangements change on any particular day then you must contact us directly prior to the club giving detail of the named person collecting your child(ren) and a collection password where necessary.
Unfortunately, we cannot organise early pick ups from clubs due to the logistical challenges of moving the whole group of children to drop off a single child. If for any reason you need to collect your child before the allotted finish time please arrange to collect your child from the class teacher at the end of the school day instead of attending the club.
Please contact Sporting Chance as early as possible to notify us of any absence from clubs. If you are unable to reach us on the phone then please contact the school office directly before 315pm so that the message can be communicated to the relevant onsite Sporting Chance team members running clubs and also class teachers.
Our team will be busy delivering clubs during after school hours so please ensure all communication is in well in advance of the session wherever possible.
